1,000ページを超える大作なのでいったいいつになったら読み終えるのかは分かりませんが、ゆっくり進めていこうと思います。

西洋哲学史の洋書で別の候補としては

Bertrand Russell, "History of Western Philosophy"

も考えていました。

ラッセルのほうはみすず書房から日本語訳が新装合本で間もなく出版されますね。
